Amanson on Death, 2022-11-18

Death is the most misunderstood rite-of-passage in your world today. Its accomplishment can occur in so many different guises – grisly, peaceful, mysterious, welcome – that understanding its significance can be a challenge. The truth of the matter is its Simplicity: it’s merely shedding one set of raiment for another, as the original raiment, the one worn in the physical reality, when it becomes worn, stretched to the point of no repair, has to be abandoned – what suit of clothes wouldn’t? So, the subsequent raiment, that which replaces the familiar body of flesh, blood and bone, is of such a finer material as to be unrecognizable to its former eye, [which is] the present eye of the mourners and attendees to the newly arrayed but now invisible subject. But just because one set of circumstances is too subtle to be perceived by those in another circumstance does not mean there is nothing to this new unperceived reality. It merely means it cannot be seen, recognized, addressed.

Death is the one universally acknowledged event in the process of living that holds all feet to the fire – it cannot be circumvented and yet it is an illusion, so the joke, as you might say, is on circumvention itself. To boldly question the very notion of ‘death’ is the first step in seeing through it. There are two modes of disbelief, though only one is the true one, the fruitful path. You can deny death’s existence by asserting [that] it’s entirely too real –  the proverbial ‘final curtain’ (as Hamlet put it so succinctly, “No more”); or you can disbelieve the very notion of an end stop – which is the true way – and find the Light now that continues on then – the Interior Illumination providing Life itself within each of us living - who then, when the time comes, shall step effortlessly across as Life continues its flow, you being part of it – you practiced it here, and with nary a bump or hitch you now practice it there.

And is there an order of hierarchy at play? Does one need to be amongst the ‘Anointed’ to take advantage of so Royal a treatment? No! Those who have an inkling of the process, who practice its foreknowledge consciously now will likely have an easier time facing ‘the great transition’ but the transition’s amenities are afforded to all: the frightened; the prepared.

As I say, ‘death’ is probably the most misunderstood aspect of the long ritual of living on so rough-and-tumble a planet, and yet in the end (which would seem to be what we’re talking about, but understand – it isn’t!) it is far Simpler for the disembodied than for the bodied - those fellows, colleagues, friends and  family left to imagine where their cohort has gone; although were their eyes sharp enough, their imaginations rich enough, their faith strong enough, their grief would be assuaged instantly and their confusion lifted, lifted higher than their understanding of earthly things had ever been. For how much here can really be understood other than there’s a grand agenda, a far-flung curriculum at play, which death, in all its misunderstood grandeur, actually represents.

Follow the path as it’s laid out lovingly before you and know that it is all for your benefit. Which benefits all. It’s quite a system.

Question: What is death like?

Answer: We prefer to think of it as birth. It is not frightening. It is quite spiritually beautiful. In my opinion as one who has died, it is the spiritual, the culminating event spiritually, of life in the flesh. It is to your lives as a concert is to a song. It is expanding, it is the only time mortal eyes - or one of the only times - with few exceptions, the mortal eyes can behold celestial presences, and there is much angelic help, Thought Adjuster communications, Midwayer manipulation - to allow the fear to be displaced by the love, and joy, and faith recognition of what this experience really is: the birth into the ascendent corps of pilgrims marching ever onward to Paradise. This experience will forever change the mortal being. No longer will surviving be at issue. Now survival depends on action, choices, faith, but not blindness. No question of the body, no animal primitive feelings of holding to a world that is, for the moment, sad and dark. We rejoice when a being joins us.

Death should not be painful to the God believer, but is painful in some cases where the material takes precedence over the spiritual. When the material body is believed to be the definition of life, death is often painful physically and emotionally, for it reflects the inner struggle of the human who is confused about reality. But to the believing soul, to the sure ascender, to the true child of God, death is a celebration and not painful, but a most profound, moving, and beautiful experience as the human vision becomes morontial, and as the spiritual guardians and the celestial beings are for the - most cases - first time visible to the newly emerging morontial child.

Euthanasia, Life Extension

Question: In western culture now we have the capacity to keep many people alive into advanced age. This means that we see a fairly high percentage, compared to past ages, of persons who develop dementing diseases, particularly Alzheimers disease. In these disorders there's generally disease of the frontal and prefrontal areas, and one sees clinically disintegration of the personality as well as loss of capacity for self maintenance. Now there's a very great moral dilemma developing in western medicine presently about - is it right to keep such people alive? Because the expense of keeping them alive is very, very high. There is much grief in the family as these people become further and further detached from family and friends and reality. And these people seem to have much fear, much pain, and much illness in general. I wonder if you could comment on this, and - if you are allowed - if you could comment on how this would be handled on another world such as the one that you come from?

Answer: In the cases where the deterioration is in the prefrontal lobe it is my opinion that the Adjuster has left. What is alive is a physical body. As for the ethics of maintaining life, it is irrelevant spiritually one way or another. In terms of my world we had in place a spiritualized and accepted ritual for graduation when the physical was an impediment to the spiritual soul growth, which is, of course, the only eternal reality. When the mechanism housing the soul-Adjuster no longer functioned, it was not of any consequence to terminate life. In fact, it was a cause of celebration, being the Father's will that the soul move on to the next growth level.

You down here have much more irrational and emotional reactions to this practice since - as a world - you do not truly understand what life is, and define it solely in terms of the physical. As you grow as a world spiritually, you will learn to temper life extension with actual life growth of the soul. And many diseases will be eliminated which interfere with the mind-soul connection. Until that time this topic will be reacted to irrationally and I can only pray for your enlightenment as a world culture since many mortals suffer needlessly, and suffer delays in their universe career because of the mere sentiment, which is attached to the material body.

Question: I read about a man in this country who is on trial for murder, a physician, who attempted to help such a demented person to graduate, and it hurts me every time I read it, but it seems to be at present an insoluble problem in our culture.

Answer: Also, one must abide by the legal system one lives under, no matter how primitive.

Student: How do you explain physical death to a child of seven years, without traumatizing them?

JarEl: You do so metaphorically, and with a lot of love and compassion, to find a way to fill that emptiness that that child may and will sense from the loss; I assume that you are talking about the loss of a parent.(yes) In time this child will grow to learn who this parent was, how important this person was, and begin to understand. A child is not very capable of understanding in depth perception. It is not important to indulge in fear about this with the child. This is something you would want to avoid. What's important is to fill the gap in this child's life with resource and nourishment.
